These plates are like the Drain Eye-Catchers except that they are a sort of “Drain Food-Catchers.” This means that these plates hold food which is still wet from either rinsing (grapes, strawberries) or cooking (asparagus) and the water therefore needs to drain through the holes. When the comparison with the Drain Eye-Catcher is taken further, the question arises: when does food become waste?
