Celebrating the beauty of imperfection, Crackery-Crockery transforms white mass-produced porcelain tableware into individual treasures.

Instead of hiding a crack or chip, the faults of each piece are highlighted with delicate gold luster and a floral motif that blossoms from it. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of repairing broken ceramics with a line of gold lacquer, the collection honours the fragility of the object. Through the mending process, its value is increased and a new appreciation is created for it. Every fault is unique, so each piece has its own identity. The result is a beautiful tableware set, which is a collection of one-off pieces.

Ready-made porcelain, gold-luster, self-made transfers.
